The Colonnade is set in a Victorian building, built in 1865 and converted into a hospital. It retains many original features, including a late 19th century Wedgewood fireplace and a 1920s Art Deco lift. The hotel is located in Little Venice, one mile from Regent's Park. The 43 air-conditioned guestrooms are individually designed and have traditional English- style décor in warm colors with rich fabrics and heavy Victorian furniture. Beds are made up with Frette bed linen. All rooms have CD players, minibars, high speed Internet connections, hair dryers, safes, phones, satellite television and bathrooms with bathrobes, slippers and designer toiletries.
Guests can relax with a pampering in-room health spa treatment; a team of qualified professionals, BTS (Body Tissue Service), is on hand to offer spiritual treatments, ancient healing practices and traditional massage therapy, such as aromatherapy and Thai massage. In the E Bar guests can enjoy authentic Spanish tapas, whose ingredients are sourced by the chef from producers in Spain. Dishes include Roasted Whole Piquillos de Lodosa from Navarra and Bitter Sweet Pickled Figs from El Bierzo. The restaurant has an extensive drinks and cocktails menu and contemporary décor, furnishings and accessories in brown, gold and cappuccino colors. The London Toy and Model Museum, Marylebone, Hyde Park, Oxford Circus, Bond Street and London Zoo can all be found within two miles of the hotel. London Heathrow Airport is 12 miles and a 30 minute drive away. The Heathrow Express train service to London Paddington Station leaves every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes. From Paddington, guest should take the Underground to Warwick Avenue station in the Bakerloo Line.
